Hotel was situated really close to tourist destinations like airlie gardens. It truly was a NICE experience. The free WiFi was a cherry on top.

Convenient location to UNCW area and shopping.
The building and facilities were older and the street was very commercial with foreclosed and vacant properties around. Not a place to walk around at night.Building smelled smokey throughout and there were loud patrons visiting the lounge at night. Rooms were quiet and acceptable given the low price. Breakfast was minimal.

I have been staying at the Ramada in for years and have always been more than satisfied with the quality and service. The Ramada Inn I stayed at in Wilmington was filthy and deplorable. The entire structure needs to be gutted and re-built. I would never stay there again. When I was checking out a custormer who was also checking out complained that there were visible bugs in their bed. The entire hotel had a very displeasing odor that was attempted to be covered up with a perfumey spray which made it even worse. The hotel was run down, walls were dirty and the carpeting was thread bare. I couldn't wait to get out of there. You need to have a representative pay a visit there. I booked online, of course without having seen the hotel. The photos were misleading because it looked like a pleasant place to stay. I'm sorry to say but if this is the "quality" that Ramada has sunk to I will be thinking twice before ever booking with a Ramada Inn again.

Convenient to UNC Wilmington
I travel a good deal - and this location is very run-down. The room appears to be from a low-end motel with significantly used linens, small towels, and not all of the fixtures worked.

Not a damn thing! That was easily the most vile hotel i have ever stayed in. I stayed in 26 hotels so far this year and that was bad!!!

The location was ok.
Bathroom was dirty, and had cracks everywhere. Hot and cold water were reversed. The safty lock on the door was missing. The staff not only started to move the breakfast food away before time was up, but unless you got there bright and early in the morning almost all the food was gone, except for cerial and coffee/tea. The room was also freezing cold, which several guests complained about! The pool did not look as if anybody took care of it. The color of the water was green - not blue. Nobody used it for that reason.

Cheap rates, quiet.
Person supposedly serving continental breakfast was invisible most of the time, couldn't cope with problems in orange juice dispenser.

Service such as the breadfas, not on time, it was close, front entrance not clean, not a laundry, pool not clean at all. Sorry but is the reality....

The staff were friendly; room was comfortable and clean.
We had no hot water during our entire stay - we tried at various times of day from early morning until late night, and the water was never more than lukewarm. We were told that this was a problem throughout the hotel, because it was very crowded and the system could not handle the demand. Although we were given a discount for our stay due to this lack, I would not stay there again unless I could be assured of hot water on demand.

friendly staff and cheap - paid less than 70 dollars
room with 2 double beds but each bed really narrow. reception has huge plexiglass windows which don't inspire confidence - what's going on here for them to need these? cleanliness not the best - for instance alarm clock was covered in sticky stuff (soft drink residue)

This place looks like it was beautiful 35 years ago. If only they kept it up... could have had a lot of character.
Air conditioner is noisier than a helicopter. Sleep not possible. Sink is oddly low, requires bending over, bad for back. Not enough towels.
